Born in Colwyn Bay, North Wales (UK), Stephen Richards went to school at Ysgol Emrys Ap Iwan where he first found he had a computing talent. Leaving to see the world in 1976, he joined the Royal Air Force (RAF) working on RADAR and Communications systems for 13 years. The last 5 years of his career were split between a developer role and that of part of a system management team on a large computer network.
Leaving in 1994, Steve worked for a charity and then went back into electronics with Sonatest and then IT again with Telematica the development arm of Trafficmaster.
At the end of 2006, Steve was luck enough to be able to buy his own business in the form of a franchise with Computer Troubleshooters. Now back working in his home town and the surrounding district, he has built many strong business links with local firms.
