Remote Desktop Support - Legal Notice
1. Provision of Support
Remote desktop support may be provided strictly at the sole discretion of the Site Administrator. Access to systems will only be granted upon obtaining explicit and verifiable permission from the Administrator. No services shall be rendered without such authorisation.
2. Service Charges
All remote support services are chargeable as follows:
- £60 per hour or part thereof for general IT support, including basic troubleshooting and configuration assistance.
- £200 per hour or part thereof for cybersecurity-related matters, including threat investigation, recovery, or mitigation work.
3. User Responsibilities
The user is fully responsible for ensuring that all necessary data backups are completed prior to commencement of any remote session. The Site Administrator does not and will not undertake or guarantee any data protection or recovery actions unless separately agreed in writing.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site Administrator accepts no liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses, including data loss, system damage, or downtime, arising from or related to the remote support services provided. All assistance is offered on an “as is” basis, without any express or implied warranties of performance or fitness for purpose.
5. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting, authorising, or engaging in a remote desktop session, the user explicitly acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions in their entirety.
